Code of Ethics

To ensure a steady improvement in the standards of the Ontario accommodation industry and to offer the guest the best of courtesy, cleanliness and comfort. As a member of the Ontario Accommodation Association, I promise to abide by and support the following Code of Ethics:

1. To ensure the highest standard of cleanliness and hospitality is maintained at all times, and to meet the standards set by the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development Trade and Tourism to be listed as an approved tourist accommodation facility.

2. To handle all enquiries, requests, reservations, correspondence, and complaints promptly, courteously and fairly.

3. To charge reasonable and appropriate rates at all times for the accommodation that I offer to the travelling public.

4. To adhere to my stated policy on rates and deposit refunds as established at the beginning of each season.

5. To exercise truth in all promotional materials concerning facilities, services and amenities provided. To advise the public if and when I am unable to provide the level of services or facilities as advertised.

6. To offer a fair exchange on U.S. currency.
